How our remote support works

Simple, secure and controlled from your side.

1
Log a support request with IT Outlook Phone, email or use your normal ticketing channel to log the issue. Please provide a clear description and any error messages you see.
2
We send you a secure remote link You will receive a link or a one-time session code for our remote tool (e.g. AnyDesk / TeamViewer / etc.). You decide when to start the session.
3
You grant temporary access When you approve the request, we can see your screen and, with your permission, control mouse and keyboard to troubleshoot.
4
Issue resolved & session closed Once we have completed the work, we disconnect. The session ends and cannot be restarted without your permission.

Note: For security reasons, we will never ask you for your personal or banking passwords. If something feels suspicious, please contact IT Outlook directly before allowing access.

Frequently asked questions

A few common questions about IT Outlook remote support.

Do I need to install anything? In most cases we send you a small, secure remote support app to run on your PC. It does not permanently install unless your company uses managed agents.
Can you see my personal information? We see your screen while connected, similar to sitting at your desk. We only access what is needed to fix the issue, and you can minimise any personal windows before we connect.
What if the problem cannot be fixed remotely? If we determine that on-site work or hardware repairs are required, we will advise you and discuss the next steps.
Is remote support included in my support agreement? This depends on your contract with IT Outlook. Please refer to your service agreement or contact us for clarification.
